Keynote – How integrating models and sensors can bridge the gaps towards a holistic assessment of enviromental and public health

Environmental data from a sensors, gathered by earth observation platforms to personal devices, is becoming available at unprecedented rates and scales. At the same time, advances in computing enable us to model environmental processes and the interactions of humans with their environment with high spatio-temporal resolution. We can and need to improve their integration as a means to translate raw data into actionable information for individuals, experts and decision makers, in order to advance the contribution environmental models and sensors can make to improving public health.
